Following the spatial planning program of the Ministry of Education, we have distributed the spaces across the ground floor and the upper floor in such a way that the more public functions of the school are located on the ground floor, while those related exclusively to learning are on the upper floor. The school extends along the East-West axis so that most spaces benefit from a southern orientation. The spaces with southern exposure are mainly the classrooms on the upper floor, while on the ground floor, the main student circulation corridor is located. Students will enter the school from Papanikolaou Street, which is a low-traffic road, and in front of the interior student corridor, there is a covered walkway (arcade) that leads to an expanded area in front of the staircase. This area can serve as a foyer for the multipurpose hall, an exhibition space for the school, or primarily as a breakout area for days with very bad weather. The same area also connects with the library space, which we envision as an open and unified area, as well as the canteen, in order to avoid overcrowding during breaks. Although the corridors are long, they are naturally lit along their entire length, offering visual escapes to the surrounding environment. There are also resting areas and a spacious area in front of the staircase.

Ακολουθώντας το κτιριολογικό πρόγραμμα του Υπουργείου Παιδείας έχουμε κάνει έναν διαμοιρασμό των χώρων στο ισόγειο και στον όροφο ώστε οι πιο δημόσιες χρήσεις του σχολείου να βρίσκονται στο ισόγειο, ενώ αυτές που έχουν να κάνουν αποκλειστικά με τα μαθησιακά στον όροφο. Το σχολείο εκτείνεται στον άξονα Ανατολής Δύσης έτσι ώστε οι περισσότεροι του χώροι να βρίσκονται με νότιο προσανατολισμό. Οι χώροι με τον νότιο προσανατολισμό είναι κυρίως οι αίθουσες διδασκαλίας στον όροφο, ενώ στο ισόγειο βρίσκεται ο βασικός διάδρομος διέλευσης των μαθητών. Η είσοδος θα γίνεται για τους μαθητές από την οδό Παπανικολάου που είναι δρόμος χαμηλής κυκλοφορίας, ενώ μπροστά από εσωτερικό διάδρομο διέλευσης των μαθητών υπάρχει και μία στοά που καταλήγει στον διευρυμένο χώρο μπροστά από το κλιμακοστάσιο, που μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί είτε σαν φουαγιέ του χώρου πολλαπλών χρήσεων, είτε σαν εκθεσιακός χώρος του σχολείου, αλλά κυρίως σαν χώρος εκτόνωσης για ημέρες με πολύ άσχημο καιρό. Στον ίδιο χώρο εκτονώνεται και ο χώρος της βιβλιοθήκης που τον έχουμε φανταστεί σαν ένα ανοικτό και ενιαίο χώρο, αλλά και το κυλικείο, ώστε να μην προκαλείται συνωστισμός στα διαλλείματα. Οι διάδρομοι παρότι είναι μεγάλοι σε μήκος, φωτίζονται με φυσικό φως σε όλη την έκτασή τους, με οπτικές φυγές προς τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο, ενώ υπάρχουν χώροι στάσης αλλά και μεγάλος χώρος μπροστά από τον χώρο του κλιμακοστασίου.
